The Turkish company Atlas Global Energy is implementing a project for the construction of a 60 MW wind farm in the Skole district of Lviv region. The wind farm should start working in August 2022 – it will supply the generated electricity to the public grid at the FIT, Ecotown reports. The project provides 16 wind turbines and their connection to the networks (35 and 110 kV). The wind farm is planned to be connected to the Lavochne-T substation, which belongs to Ukrzaliznytsia JSC. This year, investors plan to reconstruct an access road approximately 6 kilometres long, lay trenches and cables to the Lavochne-T substation, build foundations for turbines, and start tender procedures for the reconstruction of the substation. It is planned to install wind turbines, complete the substation’s reconstruction, and obtain permits for commissioning next year. Atlas Global Energy has been working in the field of renewable energy for over 15 years. Turkey has built 8 wind farms, 3 hydroelectric power plants in Georgia and Turkey. The total capacity of wind power plants is 400 MW.
